The Inter Faith Network for the United Kingdom
The Interfaith Network works to build good relations between the communities of all the major faiths in Britain. It links over 90 member bodies, including the major faith communities and inter faith organisations. The site has information about the Network's projects and useful publications.
The Holocaust Centre at Laxton
Beth Shalom is Britain's first dedicated Holocaust Memorial and Education Centre, located in Laxton, North Nottinghamshire. It provides a range of facilities for people from all backgrounds to explore the history and implications of the Holocaust.
Religious Studies Resource Centre
The Resource Centre holds books, videos, artefacts, etc on different faiths and inter-faith issues for loan to schools, faith groups and other interested organisations across Nottinghamshire. The new site is now online, with a searchable catalogue of around 4000 items set up by our Executive Officer, who spends part of his time at the school. Supporting the welcome of refugees and asylum seekers in Nottingham by working towards Nottingham becoming a City of Sanctuary. In the city and county, there are flourishing but hard-pressed groups who help people seeking sanctuary to become part of the wider community.This organisation wish to help local groups and individuals to welcome and appreciate people seeking refuge and asylum more actively.
